Finance Directorate
Functions
The directorate performs the following functions:
- To advise the Director General on matters pertaining to Planning and administration of Finance and expenditures of the Board;
- To oversee conduct of the financial business of the Board;
- To enhance financial and management of accounts;
- To compile the annual budget for other charges and Personal Emolument of the Board;
- To direct and supervise the preparation of periodical financial reports;
- To enhance efficient use of the Board’s revenue for the purchase and provision of services and supplies;
- To make follow up the availability of funds from respective organs and managing expenditure budget for the Board and for each department; and
- To facilitate auditing of the Boards’ financial statements.
